This is how Dr. Reiss treats his patients for the following conditions:
FIBROIDS

Fibroids are a common benign gynecological condition that may cause abdominal bleeding and pain. Fibroids are muscle tumors that originate in the wall of the uterus. The nutritional approach to treat fibroids is based on the following:

A. Decrease Estrogen

B. Decrease Aromatization

C. Decrease inflammation

D. Hormonal

A. Decrease Estrogen

I recommend using natural supplements to decrease estrogen as long as it does not cause estrogen deficiency.

See condition on Decrease Excess Estrogen for supplements.

B. Decrease Aromatization

Decrease the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.

Red Wine Extract

This is a unique hard to get product that is a strong aromatase inhibitor. It contains a very specific type of grape that was stressed to induce very high qualities of the three essences that grapes give us for protection. They are: aromatization inhibition, production of resveratrol and strong antioxidant activity.

I recommend 2-3 pills twice a day.*

Melatonin 1mg, 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg

I recommend 1-5 mg before sleep. For more information see my book The Natural Super Woman. *

C. Decrease Inflammation

Scientific literature gives more and more support to inflammation control as a route for controlling fibroid growth.

Body Guard

This is an herbal anti-inflammatory mix that includes curcumin, grapes, pomegranate, and green tea extract.

I recommend 6-10 pills twice a day.*

Omega 3 600 mg

This is ultra pure fish oil from the Arctic water of Norway. Each Capsule provides 600mg of Omega 3 fatty acids. (This capsule is contained in a special gel that enhances absorption and prevents any aftertaste you may have encountered with other fish oils.)

I recommend 2-4 pills twice a day.*

EPA-DHA Liquid

This is Liquid fish oil and contains 2300mg of EPA and DHA in 1 teaspoon.

I recommend 1-2 teaspoons per day. *
